Night of Trees Press Review and Tree Decorating

Special Olympics DC is delighted to announce “Deck the Halls: a Holiday Tree Decorating Ceremony”, its first-ever Press Preview taking place on November 26, 2023, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, from 3:30pm – 5:00pm. This exclusive event offers a rare opportunity to meet the Special Olympics DC athletes, as well as supporters and talented designers responsible for decorating uniquely themed holiday trees, all to raise funds for local Special Olympics DC programming. Interviews with Special Olympics DC athletes and community supporters will be available.

Following the Press Preview, the trees will be displayed and auctioned off at the 39th Annual Night of Trees Gala, the evening of December 2, 2023, also held at The Omni Shoreham Hotel. The Night of Trees Gala promises an evening filled with beautifully decorated trees, live and silent auctions, live music, and dancing, with all proceeds benefiting Special Olympics DC. The grandeur of the night will be further amplified by the presence of esteemed community members, Special Olympics DC athletes, and influential personalities who have made this a steadfast holiday tradition in Washington, DC. This remarkable event supports our mission to promote inclusion and empower athletes with intellectual disabilities.
